Singer was born on November 26, 1986, at Santa Monica California. The father of the singer, Vincenzo Barba is her mother Valerie Barba. When she was six, her family relocated to Point Pleasant New Jersey. In terms of her education, she completed her studies at Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. Then she attended Catholic University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture. She also played the violin since the age four and was referred to for her role as Violin Lady. Because of her talent that she went under the title Violin Girl. She also taught kids from the locality how to play the violin. When she was 19 she entered the sixth American Idol season and performed the single Free, 1976. The singer was subsequently eliminated the contest after having reached 16th position.
