Cristela Alonzo is an American writer and comedian, is also a producer. Most famously, she is known for the TV series Cristela which started airing in 2014. This made her the first Latina to create a the show and also star on her own show on a network. Her family was from Texas prior to moving in Los Angeles for her career. There have been guest appearances on TV shows like Sons of Anarchy or General Hospital. She has written for the TV show Mind of Mencia. She is also a host and a star on The View TV show "The View".
