Dennings was in a relationship with Nick Zano from 2011-2014, her co-star in "2 Broke Girls". Following their split Dennings began dating musician Josh Groban. They remained together until 2016. Dennings and Andrew W.K. met in early 2021. They began dating at the beginning of 2021, and later announced their wedding date for May. Dennings has been a faithful follower of the musician. She has followed him since 2014. Though Dennings was Jewish, she has stated that she is more a part of the Jewish faith on a personal or cultural level, and she does not make religion an active part of her life. Dennings has many activities, which include gardening, reading and painting. When she was a child, her original plan to attend an art college was stopped after a devastating flood destroyed the majority of her work. Then, she took the flood as a sign and decided to pursue a career as an actor instead. Her name is Transcendental Meditator who does not smoke or consume alcohol.
